Good question! If you decide to buy a subscription to 'My Not So Secret Journal Club', you will accept our regular terms and conditions and the following agreement for this subscription:

Abonnementsvoorwaarden voor 'My Not So Secret Journal Club'

Deze voorwaarden gelden voor je abonnement voor 'My Not So Secret Journal Club'. Door je in te schrijven voor het abonnement ga je akkoord met de onderstaande afspraken en onze aanvullende algemene voorwaarden.

Het abonnement

1. Je abonnement loopt door voor onbepaalde tijd met een automatische incasso (of de gekozen betaalmethode).
2. Je kiest zelf of je een maandelijks of kwartaalabonnement neemt. Bij het kwartaalabonnement betaal je ook maandelijks, maar met korting als bedankje omdat je de club een kwartaal lang steunt.
3. Je abonnement wordt stilzwijgend automatisch verlengd, tenzij je die voor de nieuwe abonnementsperiode stopzet.

Opzeggen

1. Toch iets anders proberen? Je kunt je abonnement opzeggen vóór de dag waarop je nieuwe abonnementsperiode start.
2. Voorbeeld:
   
   Je hebt het maandabonnement gekocht op 23 augustus 2025 → zeg uiterlijk 22 september op om niet automatisch te verlengen.
   
   Je hebt het kwartaalabonnement gekocht op 23 augustus 2025 → zeg uiterlijk 22 november 2025 op om niet automatisch te verlengen.
   
   
3. Zeg je later op, dan loopt je abonnement nog door tot het einde van de lopende periode.
4. Je blijft de producten en toegang ontvangen waar je al voor hebt betaald.
5. Na opzegging betaal je niets meer, behalve voor de abonnementsperiode die al is gestart.

Opschorten of pauzeren

1. Tijdelijk pauzeren of opschorten is helaas niet mogelijk. Je kunt wel je abonnement stopzetten.
2. Als wij het abonnement door bijzondere omstandigheden moeten opschorten, schuiven we de levering van je geheime brief door of zorgen we voor een passende compensatie.

Betaling

1. Het abonnement wordt vooraf gefactureerd.
2. Je gaat akkoord met een betalingstermijn van 14 dagen.
3. De betalingsverplichting blijft bestaan, ook als je de automatische incasso storneert.
4. Betaal je niet op tijd? Dan kunnen we je lidmaatschap tijdelijk opschorten ofwel pauzeren of annuleren. En brengen we wettelijke aanmaningskosten in rekening, conform de wettelijk vastgestelde maximale incassokosten.

Het aanbod

1. Mijn team en ik doen ons best om de brieven van 'My Not So Secret Journal Club' elke maand goed af te leveren. Toch is het soms nodig om het abonnement te veranderen of te optimaliseren.
2. Als we dit van plan zijn, laten we het tijdig weten zodat je kunt beslissen of je lid wil blijven.

Herroepingsrecht en retouren

1. Elke maand personaliseren we je geheime brief op maat met je naam. Daarom geldt volgens de Nederlandse wet (art. 6:230p BW) geen standaard herroepingsrecht of retourrecht.
2. Voor niet-gepersonaliseerde producten of digitale diensten verwijzen we naar de algemene voorwaarden en het wettelijke herroepingsrecht.
   
   
3. Alleen bij fouten of schade tijdens verzending zoeken we samen naar een oplossing. Laat dit binnen 3 dagen weten via hello@mytruelife.nl, mét foto’s van product en verpakking.

Klachten

1. Kom je ergens niet uit of kunnen mijn team en ik iets volgens jou optimaliseren? Laat het ons weten via hello@mytruelife.nl. We reageren doorgaans binnen 48 uur, tenzij het weekend of een feestdag is. 
2. We volgen de klachtenregeling zoals opgenomen in onze algemene voorwaarden.

Geschillen

1. Op deze abonnementsvoorwaarden is uitsluitend Nederlands recht van toepassing.
2. Het Weens Koopverdrag (CISG) is uitgesloten.
3. Geschillen worden in eerste instantie opgelost via ons klachtenprotocol en het Nederlands recht volgens onze algemene voorwaarden. Als dat geen uitkomst biedt, kunnen consumenten hun klacht indienen bij de bevoegde rechter of via https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_nl

These terms apply to your subscription for 'My Not So Secret Journal Club'. By signing up for the subscription, you agree to the terms below and our additional general terms and conditions.

The subscription

1. Your subscription continues for an indefinite period and payment will be collected via automatic debit or your chosen payment method.
2. You can start a monthly or quarterly subscription. With the quarterly subscription, you also pay monthly but at a discounted rate as a thank you for supporting the club for a full three months.
3. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the start of the new subscription period.

Cancellation

1. Want to try something else? To stop your subscription from renewing for the next period, please cancel before the day your next subscription period starts.
   
   For example:
   
   If you purchased the monthly subscription on August 23, 2025, you must cancel by September 22, 2025 at the latest to stop the subscription from renewing for the next month, and so on.
   
   If you purchased the quarterly subscription on August 23, 2025, you must cancel by November 22, 2025 at the latest to stop the subscription from renewing for another quarter.
   
   
2. If you cancel after these dates, your subscription will continue until the end of the current paid period.
3. You will continue to receive the secret letters and access you have already paid for.
4. After cancellation, you will not be charged further, except for the subscription period already started.

Suspension or cancellations 

1. Temporarily pausing or suspending your subscription is unfortunately not possible. You can cancel your subscription.
2. If my team and I have to suspend the subscription due to special circumstances, we will postpone delivery of your secret letter or provide appropriate compensation.

Payment

1. The subscription fee is charged before the start of each subscription period.
2. You agree to a payment term of 14 days.
3. Your payment obligation remains even if you revoke the automatic debit.
4. If your payment is late, we may pause or cancel your membership temporarily and add collection fees as allowed by Dutch law.

The offer

1. My team and I do our best to deliver the letters of 'My Not So Secret Journal Club' each month properly. However, sometimes changes or optimizations to the subscription may be necessary.
2. If we plan any changes, we will notify you in time so you can decide whether you want to remain a member.

Right of withdrawal and returns

1. Every month, we personalize your secret letter with your name. Therefore, according to Dutch law (Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code), the statutory right of withdrawal or return does not apply.
2. For non-personalized products or digital services, please refer to our general terms and conditions and the statutory right of withdrawal.
3. If your secret letter or its contents are damaged during shipping, please contact us within 3 days at hello@mytruelife.nl. Include clear photos of the damage to the letter, the products inside, and the packaging. We will work together with you to find a solution.

Complaints

1. If you run into any challenges or have ideas on things my team and I could improve, please let us know via hello@mytruelife.nl. We usually respond within 48 hours, except on weekends or public holidays.
2. We follow the complaints procedure described in our general terms and conditions.

Disputes

1. These subscription terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
2. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
3. Disputes will initially be resolved via our complaints protocol and Dutch law according to our general terms and conditions. If this does not resolve the issue, consumers may submit their complaint to the competent court or via https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_nl.
