💌 Retourbeleid
Hallo fijne klant!
We hopen dat je blij bent met je bestelling, maar als iets niet helemaal naar wens is, kun je je bestelling binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst retourneren.

🛍️ Retourbeleid voor nieuwe producten
Je hebt 14 dagen bedenktijd om een product te retourneren, zonder opgave van reden. Je retour is geldig als het artikel/retourpakket:
- Ongebruikt en ongedragen is
- Alle originele labels bevat
- In de originele verpakking zit
- Eventuele extra’s (zoals stofzakken, certificaten of cadeaus) bevat
Je hebt ook het aankoopbewijs of je orderbevestiging nodig.
Om een retour aan te vragen, stuur je binnen 14 dagen een e-mail naar hello@mytruelife.nl of log je in op je webshopaccount. Na goedkeuring kun je de retour sturen naar ons adres:

Retourkosten zijn voor eigen rekening.
💡 Retouren die zonder voorafgaande melding worden opgestuurd, kunnen we helaas niet accepteren.
✨ Retourbeleid voor pre-owned & vintage producten
Ook voor pre-owned en vintage items geldt de 14 dagen retourtermijn, mits ze:
- Ongebruikt en ongewijzigd zijn
- Originele verpakking en labels bevatten
- Eventuele extra’s zoals stofzakken of certificaten zijn bijgevoegd
- Voor vintage schoenen: beschermfolie is intact en er zijn geen nieuwe gebruikssporen
Ook hier geldt: meld je retour binnen 14 dagen per e-mail aan.
🛑 Geen retour mogelijk bij:
De volgende producten kunnen niet worden geretourneerd:
- Artikelen die gebruikt, gedragen, gewassen of aangepast zijn
- Artikelen die zonder retourmelding zijn teruggestuurd
- Artikelen zonder originele verpakking, labels of extra’s
- Vintage schoenen zonder beschermfolie of met zichtbare slijtage
- Gepersonaliseerde of op maat gemaakte producten
- Hygiënische producten waarvan de verzegeling is verbroken
- Producten die door hun aard niet geretourneerd kunnen worden (zoals bederfelijke goederen of artikelen met beperkte houdbaarheid)
Als een uitzondering op het herroepingsrecht van toepassing is, vermelden we dit altijd duidelijk op de productpagina.
🧾 Europese 14-dagen bedenktijd
Voor leveringen binnen de EU geldt: je hebt het recht je bestelling binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst te annuleren, zonder opgave van reden.
Je moet hiervoor:
1. Binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst een e-mail sturen naar hello@mytruelife.nl
2. Binnen 14 dagen na je melding het artikel terugsturen
Het artikel moet voldoen aan de retourvoorwaarden hierboven.
🛠️ Beschadigde of verkeerde artikelen
We controleren al onze producten zorgvuldig. Mocht er toch iets misgaan, bijvoorbeeld een defect, beschadiging of verkeerd artikel, neem dan direct contact met ons op via hello@mytruelife.nl. We lossen het graag voor je op.
🔄 Ruilen
Nieuwe producten:
Wil je ruilen? Stuur je artikel terug en plaats een nieuwe bestelling zodra je retour is geaccepteerd.
Pre-owned & vintage producten:
Onze vintage en pre-owned items zijn vaak unieke stukken. Ruilen is daarom niet mogelijk, je kunt wel retourneren (als het artikel aan de voorwaarden voldoet) en een nieuwe bestelling plaatsen.
💳 Terugbetalingen
Zodra we je retour hebben ontvangen en gecontroleerd, of zodra je een verzendbewijs hebt aangeleverd, laten we je weten of de terugbetaling is goedgekeurd. Als dat zo is, betalen we je terug via je oorspronkelijke betaalmethode, uiterlijk binnen 14 dagen na je herroepingsmelding.
Let op:
- Eventuele verzendkosten worden alleen vergoed als wij een fout hebben gemaakt
- Banken of creditcardmaatschappijen kunnen er een paar dagen over doen om de terugbetaling te verwerken
- Heb je na 15 werkdagen nog geen terugbetaling ontvangen? Neem dan contact op via hello@mytruelife.nl
🚚 Verzendkosten en retouradres
Retourneren is op eigen risico en kosten, tenzij wij een fout hebben gemaakt. We raden je aan om verzekerd en met tracking te verzenden. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de retourzending totdat wij het pakket veilig hebben ontvangen.
Weigert je het pakket of haal je het niet op, en wordt het naar ons teruggestuurd? Dan brengen wij de retourkosten in mindering op je terugbetaling.

Return policy for new products
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving and accepting your item to request a return.

If your return is accepted, you can return at your own costs to our return address. We will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
We carefully curate and select our new, pre-owned and vintage products before we send them out to you. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and provide a solution.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
New products:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Pre-owned and vintage:
Collections with pre-owned and vintage items often contain only one piece per product. Which means you can't exchange a product for another version.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Customized products and services
There is no cooling off period for customized products and services. When you buy a customized product or service, the sale is final. There is no option for returns, exchanges and no refunds.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
